Come join us for "The Hills Are Alive" flower hike, begun many years ago by the iconic Glenda Dunn, and now led by her much-less-iconic daughter, Robin. The hike explores the alpine meadows above the east side of Leadville. We'll hear white-crowned sparrows, lincoln sparrows, and probably ruby-crowned kinglets too, as we learn some of the flowers' folk names.

Robin is a lifelong learner who invites you to bring your own sense of fun, questions, ideas, joys, and stores of knowledge to share with one another. We'll all learn from each other as we climb, and will take a 15 minute time to separate and enjoy silence, while we eat our lunch. We'll conclude lunch time by learning a song to honor the beautiful, beautiful earth before we head back down to our cars.

We'll meet at the Presbyterian Church in Leadville at 9:00, and carpool from there to the trail. Please bring appropriate hiking gear, raincoat, lunch, water, etc. See you there!
